April - Advance to Align

April is a month of alignment. After the stretching of March, many within our Covet2Prophesy family are stepping into April with expanded capacity but uncertain footing. You have been enlarged. Now the Father is asking a different question. The question is no longer how much can you hold. The question is are you positioned correctly to carry it. Alignment is the work of April.

Alignment is not the same as striving. It is not about doing more or pushing harder. It is about getting under the right covering, standing in the right posture, and ensuring that what you are moving toward matches what heaven is releasing. You can have great capacity and still be out of position. You can be gifted and still be misaligned. April is the month the Father fine-tunes the instrument before He plays the next note.

Colossians 3:1 gives us the posture for this season: "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God." Alignment begins in the heart. It begins with where your attention is anchored. When your heart is set on things above, your feet follow in the right direction. When your mind is stayed on His order, His clarity replaces confusion, and His precision replaces scattered effort.

The Father is doing four specific things in the body this month. He is aligning identity, calling you to release the version of yourself that was defined by limitation and to receive who you are on the other side of the resurrection. He is aligning assignment, narrowing the focus so that your obedience goes deeper rather than wider. He is aligning your voice, closing the gap between what you have genuinely encountered and what you are actually speaking. And He is aligning your hearing, tuning your ear so that what you receive in this season is truly from Him, not from fear, not from desire, not from the noise of culture.

If April feels like a quiet adjustment after the intensity of March, do not mistake stillness for stagnation. The Father does some of His most precise work in the pauses. A contractor who builds without plumb lines wastes both material and time. The alignment process is not a delay. It is the most efficient path to what is ahead. What gets aligned in April becomes the foundation for May's activation and June's establishment.

There may also be areas this month where He asks you to let go. Alignment sometimes means releasing a method that no longer carries grace, a conversation that is pulling you off course, or a version of your assignment that you outgrew without realizing it. Release is not failure. Release is making room. What leaves in alignment creates space for what is coming in activation.

My prayer is that by the end of April you will know where you stand, what you carry, and who you are speaking to. That the fog of uncertainty will have lifted. That your hearing will be sharper and your obedience more precise. That you will step into May not just enlarged from March, but aligned, postured, positioned, and ready.

You are not aligning alone. The Father is doing this with you. The adjustment you feel is His hand, not His absence. And when the alignment is complete, you will move with a clarity and a weight you have not carried before.
